I began to use doTerra essential oils approximately 2 months ago. Towards the end of 2014, my coworker at the time had been telling me about the benefits of essential oils and different things they help with, but I was very hesitant to use them. I also knew that I didn't have the money to purchase the oils, as well as very skeptical of their success. I didn't want to spend a decent chunk of money on the oils and not know if they would work for me.
In the beginning of January this year, I decided to go ahead and give the oils a try. I told her that I would only try if I could sample a few first. She knew that I was unable to purchase any just yet, and that I wouldn't purchase any until I knew if they worked or not. She gave me a few samples to try, and I could tell a difference from the first time I used them. I daily fight headaches and allergies, and when I started using the oils, both of these things decreased.
Later in January and early February my husband and I both began to get colds. While we had our colds we used a special cold blend (made from a few drops of 4 different essential oils) as well as a few different oils behind our ears and on our throats. Using these oils greatly shortened the time either of us were sick and helped us feel better very quickly.
In the 2 months I have been using the oils, I have seen significant differences in things I was dealing with before. I will be using this blog to gradually share stories of how different oils are helping us, and what things I have tried. I am still finding new oils or oil blends that I want to try, and will be trying soon to help other health issues my family has.
